Labor ministers of South Ossetia and Russia signed a protocol suggesting an increase in salaries for certain categories

A protocol on amendments to the agreement between the Russian Federation and South Ossetia on promoting the implementation of the state program for socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia for 2022-2025 was signed in Moscow on Monday, Ministry of Labor of the Republic reports.

The document has been signed by Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of South Ossetia Oleg Gagloev, who arrived in Moscow the day before, and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov.

"The protocol assumes an increase in the average salary of certain categories of employees of state and municipal institutions of South Ossetia - medical, pedagogical, scientific workers, cultural workers and others," the press service has noted.

The agreement between the Russian Federation and South Ossetia on promoting the implementation of the state program for socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia was concluded on August 4, 2022.
